We are a private members’ club, established in 1901 with over 400 members today. Now, as then, we strive to be a welcoming and friendly Club open to all. We are a safe haven for members to participate in the myriad of activities on offer or just to meet friends and idly chat. 

 

We have a lounge, a bar plus a large function room which is available for private parties. We have 2 snooker tables accessed from the bar and a pool table in the lounge.

 

Children are welcome in the bar until 9pm as long as they are supervised by parents or guardians. For events in the Function room children are welcome until close.

 

We hold a number of events throughout the year such as tribute acts, live music acts, discos, race nights and family fun days.

The bar is run by our manager Rob. With selection of beers, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, our prices are very competitive from £3.30 for a pint of beer.

The Club is run by a voluntary committee of members, most of whom have been Club members for many years. The Committee meets every two weeks to ensure the business side of the Club is healthy and meets the needs of members.
